Ahh-- the poetry that everyone was saying the other day... [A lot of it had been awful, but...]

Well, I wrote the poems that I heard down. Just in case anyone wanted to remember theirs but didn't write them down or can't remember them. I hope that's alright. If I wrote any of yours down and you don't want me to share them, just say so and I won't.

[The voice that's speaking is still distinctly Syaoran's, but he sounds significantly older, speaking with a similar but distinctly different tone and inflection than usual.]

What on... What is this place? Sakura? [A pause, footsteps. when he speaks again, his tone has slipped another note towards 'worried'.] Sakura?

[...]

This place is familiar. And so is-- [There's a brief fumbling sound, and the mic draws closer to Syaoran's face.] --this thing. Hello? Can anyone hear me?

(ooc: Syaoran has been age reserved! He's now an adult, with a wife and a seven-year-old son. o/ Not that he can find them, or clearly recall the City.)

Does-- [Syaoran cuts off with an abrupt yawn. When he speaks again, he sounds a little embarrassed.] Ah-- I'm sorry.

Does anyone know what 'espresso' is?

Th-there's a wolf in my room! He's not hurting anyone but I'm not sure where he came from -- he was sleeping on my bed when I woke up.

He says he's a 'daemon'. Is this another Curse? I don't think it's happened to anyone else...

Does anyone know where the books in the library come from? Were they all written in different worlds, or are they something that only exists in this one?

--how do I. [There's silence and the sound of shuffling for several moments, then--] Ahh! [There's two thumps and a loud clatter and the video feed suddenly clicks on.]

This armor is really hard to move around in. It was hard to see out of that helmet, too.

Is this another one of the curses? It's a weird one.

Even though I haven't been through one of the curses yet, I think I'm getting used to this place. The people here are very interesting, and the city itself is, too. But I also have a few questions.

I was told that city residents that aren't adults don't have to pay rent, but I'd still like to get a job. It seems like there are a lot of places to work, but is there anyone that needs extra help? I'm used to working around libraries and archeological digs, but I'm willing to learn to do other things. I've also worked in a cafe, though not for very long.

Once I have enough money, I want to find a place where I can buy a sword, if there's one in this city. Does anyone know where I can get one? And once I have it, would anyone be willing to give me more training with it? Hien didn't come here with me, but Kurogane-san put a lot of effort into training me how to use it. I don't want to let it go to waste.

[click] It works! Ah, Kurogane-san, Fai-san, Princess, Mokona! Are any of you here? It's me, Syaoran. We were supposed to be leaving Rekort, but when I got here none of you were nearby. This little machine was with me when I got here and it's recording whatever I say. I guess if you can't hear me I could still....

[silence for several seconds, and then:] Ahh, my name is Syaoran. I'm an archeologist from the country of Clow. I've been traveling from country to country with my friends, but I'm not sure where I am now, or where my friends went. If anyone can hear this, could you please reply?
